Waikato Drift

Postby djwazzo » Mon Feb 01, 2010 4:43 pm

Anyone got a good contacts or info for this dive? Wanting to organise a club dive here and have a few people that have done it before but want some good info on the exits. I have been advised its a time thing, ie from point A, surface no later than 20min and you will exit at B, if not then there is C...

Aware that its dependant on rainfall and levels which can be monitored by the level. But any other info would be good.

Prob looking 10-15people and will dive in waves with taking turns as divers/drivers etc

Thanks

Try searching on the forum, Shane - Azza wrote a little guide for me the first time we went down. I'll see if I can dig it out.

Entrance is at Cherry Grove, best times are 10am or 2pm when they open the gates.

We've got a weekend organised in March, quite happy to guide people if they need it.

We are flexible, Shane - our biggest constraint is how many we can fit inside of our morning breakfast venue!!!! Coffee Plus does a good full English, plus a good Flat White..... can change venue if needed, though!!!
