Weather report for Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of November 2009. :D

Today is a gentle 10 knot southerly, awesome summer weather - wearing shorts and a tee!

Tomorrow is a southwest 10 knots turning northeast in the afternoon and back to southwest by evening.

15 knots, fine and cloudy is the forecast for Sunday too.

Another great weather weekend, we have had a terrific couple of weeks!

Water temperature is 15 degrees and vis is nice at 10-15 metres.

This week is looking mighty fine as well, with the breeze swinging from south to east to north, but staying at 10-15 knots until at least Thursday.

Perfect! Just spoke to Dawn and booked us on to the wrecks for Wednesday - so hopefully the forecast holds good.

I'll bring up your walnut sapling that's currently doing very well!

Today sees a south westerly flow pick up from about 10 knots to 20 knots this evening.

It turns more westerly by Saturday morning with 15 knots and scattered showers.

Sunday sees that flow turn to the north west and sit at 10-15 knots, 20 by the evening and on Monday it will drop to 15 knots northwest.

Tuesday sees a slight southerly swing, and then a NW pattern through to Thursday.

The water temperature is staying steady now at about 15 degrees, but the vis has 15 plus metres in the last couple of days.

Well, we seem to have dropped off the radar since our Tenth Birthday Bash. Sorry about that...

The weather has just been spectacular, and solidly constant up here. Water has taken a while to warm up, but is now at 20 degrees, and 20 metres visibility is great.
Easterly pattern is upon us right now, and will be here for at least until Monday 8th February.

Sorry about the blatant lack of weather reporting! I shall tell myself off, give myself a biff about the ears, and get myself back on track, Pronto! :D

http://diving.co.nz/about/dive_blog/1539/ Weather on the web.

In a nutshell, it is gorgeous!

Southerly 15 knots, dying right off to a lovely 10 knorts from the ENE. The swell sits at about a metre from the North east, as the tail of that cyclone passed over yesterday.
The next week looks pretty settled, with a 10-15 knot steady breeze from the E, ESE at times.

The swell stays at about a metre, for most of the week.

Nice and constant, 21 degrees on the surface, and very blue water, at about 20 plus metres.
Awesome week to dive!

Argh! Tell me something I don't know!!! If you add that temp together, 2+1 =3 degrees - that's what it is here and that's going nowhere near the water. Whose stupid idea was it to move back to the UK?

:D Weekend 27th and 28th February.
10-15 knots today, picking up a bit to 20 knots SE starting from tomorrow, dropping back and steady into the week with ESE and variable turning to the North by Friday.

Clear skies, nice blue water, warm at 20 degrees down underneath, loads of kingies, big schooling snapper, manta spotted almost daily, whales and dolphins. This summer has been really really good! :D :D
